Happy Funday Morning! I want to talk a moment about stepping away from negativity. Sometimes we can’t escape a negative situation, but sometimes we are holding ourselves hostage to it. Earlier this year I had to step away from a negative relationship, one I had been in for many years. As soon as I made the decision to exit, others were commenting that I looked less stressed, I had more natural color, and my countenance was what some remembered from before the situation became so toxic. I knew I was mentally strained, and my heart was heavy with the burden, but I had missed just how much the negativity was affecting me physically. Stress is inevitable, but we can walk away from some of it and protect our mind, body and soul. The challenge this week is to take inventory and choose carefully what negativity you can step away from and which we should address. Prayers for you all for wisdom and strength.
