More compliments, less anger

Good Funday Morning! Quiz Time: How long has it been since someone made you angry with their words? Yesterday, 2 days ago, a few minutes ago? Anger is a response to stimuli, a response we can learn to control. Try this next time someone says something mean or annoying. Genuinely compliment them. It will change how you feel. It’s very freeing! And it Biblical as well: Proverbs 15:1 – “a gentle answer turns away wrath.” (Not only their wrath, but yours too!) So next time you feel anger rising in you, try complimenting instead. It’s a good, no, great habit to develop. Be blessed and a blessing!
